Yes, 4castplus provides both Estimate to Complete (ETC) as well as Forecast to Complete (FTC). ETC is calculated using historical performance, but FTC is a way to override ETC by applying user-driven predictive forecasting. That means that the project controls team can input remaining amounts and forward-looking projections to derive FTC. These metrics are reported at all levels of the project WBS hierarchy and rolled up to the project as a whole. These metrics help teams analyze project health in real time.

EVM requires 3 main data inputs: Budgeted Cost (BAC), Actual Cost (AC) and Percent Complete (PC). This means that each activity on the project needs these three data points for the system to calculate the EVM metrics. What’s very important is that these data points need to be aligned to a point in time. Which means that the budget needs to be merged with schedule to achieve Planned Value (PV). This will show the cash flow plan (on a timeline) to any point in time. 4castplus provides all the tools to achieve this capability.
